How To Create a Checkbox In MS Excel 2007 Fast

- Type your checklist items in a column.
- For its corresponding checkbox, put the cursor in your target cell, click Insert tab and then click Symbol in the Text subgroup.
- In the Symbol dialog box, on the Symbols tab, select Wingdings from the Font drop box. Then look for the box symbol and click it and then click the Insert button.
- To adjust the alignment of the new "checkbox", on the Home tab and Alignment subgroup, click on the Middle Align and Center alignment.
- You may prefer to adjust the size of the checkbox and make it a little bigger than the font size of your texts. Say you are using the font size 11 for your texts, you may adjust the font size of your checkbox symbol to 12 or 14.
